Bristol's town Recreation Department runs BYS Soccer and girls' field hockey (the latter serving all five towns and Vergennes) through its myrec.com portal. The nonprofit Bristol Recreation Club maintains the town's baseball/softball diamonds, courts and skating rink but does not itself run leagues, and area kids also ride with the regional 5Town Riders youth cycling club and ski with Middlebury-based Frost Mountain Nordic. No dedicated Little League, basketball, or football/cheer organization serving Bristol was found.
