Sharon is a small Windsor County town of about 1,600 residents. The town's Recreation Committee runs the Sharon Cyclones program for grades K–6 (baseball and softball in spring, basketball and cheerleading in fall) out of Sharon Elementary School. No other youth-sports organizations were found headquartered in Sharon; older kids attend the private Sharon Academy or play through regional clubs elsewhere in the White River Valley/Upper Valley area.
