Moretown is part of the Mad River Valley, and its kids play organized team sports through regional programs shared with Waitsfield, Warren and Fayston: Mad River Valley Little League (baseball/softball), the Mad River Valley Soccer Association, Highlander Youth Lacrosse, and Mad River Valley Recreation District's basketball and Nordic/alpine ski programs. Moretown's own Recreation Committee maintains courts, trails and a soccer/softball field but does not run organized youth leagues itself.
