Woodbury has no town recreation department or in-town youth league; families are in the Hazen Union (OSSU) school district and drive to Hardwick and Craftsbury for organized sports. Hazen Union School fields the region's interscholastic teams, Hardwick Area Little League covers baseball and softball, Hardwick Mustangs Basketball Club (explicitly open to Woodbury) and NEK Warrior Soccer Club cover their sports, and Craftsbury Outdoor Center runs the Bill Koch youth Nordic ski league. The town also maintains a free volunteer-run outdoor ice rink.
