New Haven has no youth sports league or recreation department of its own; it is a full member of the five-town district (with Bristol, Lincoln, Monkton and Starksboro) whose Little League baseball/softball and Bristol Recreation Department soccer, field hockey and basketball are run out of Bristol under the 'BHaven' (Bristol and New Haven) name. Addison County kids, including New Haven's, also play lacrosse through Middlebury Youth Lacrosse Club and Nordic ski through Frost Mountain Nordic at Rikert.
