Waitsfield shares nearly all of its youth sports with Warren, Fayston and Moretown through the Mad River Valley Recreation District: MRVSA soccer, Mad River Valley Little League baseball/softball, Harwood Youth Basketball, Highlander Youth Lacrosse, the Bill Koch cross-country ski league, and winter alpine/race programs at Mad River Glen, Sugarbush and Green Mountain Valley School. No locally organized youth football, ice hockey, field hockey, wrestling, volleyball or swim team was found; families needing those travel to Montpelier, Northfield or Waterbury.
