Friendship is a small coastal town (pop. ~1,130) with no recreation department of its own; middle and high schoolers attend RSU 40's Medomak Valley schools in neighboring Waldoboro. Families register for youth soccer through the Waldoboro Recreation Department, which explicitly welcomes non-resident sign-ups, and for baseball/softball through the regional Medomak Valley Little League. No dedicated youth basketball, football, lacrosse, hockey, or ski program serving Friendship was found.
