Jackman, ME

Jackman is a remote Somerset County town of roughly 800 people near the Canadian border with no separate town recreation department or standalone youth league. Local kids are schooled PK-12 at Forest Hills Consolidated School (SAD 12, covering Jackman, Moose River, and Rockwood), which fields interscholastic basketball, baseball, softball, cross country and golf teams, and the school calendar also lists an informal community softball night and open gym run by a group referred to only as JRCA. The nearest larger towns (Greenville, Skowhegan) are 40-65 miles away, too far for a practical regional league.

We’ll tag what your child is eligible for. We never store this. Nothing is hidden — programs that don’t fit stay on the page, labelled.
