Windsor is a rural Kennebec County town with no dedicated youth-sports rec department of its own (the town's Recreation Fund is used mainly for snowmobile trails). Windsor kids play soccer, baseball, basketball and softball through China Rec Sports, a multi-town league based in neighboring South China that explicitly serves Windsor, Whitefield and Palermo, plus softball through the Augusta-based CAYSA and swim lessons at the Kennebec Valley YMCA in Augusta.
