Unity doesn't run its own recreation department leagues; the town only just acquired its Field of Dreams park and held a community planning meeting in August 2026 to discuss adding programs there. In the meantime, Unity kids play baseball and softball through the regional Waldo County Little League (which fields games at Unity's own Field of Dreams), basketball through the volunteer-run B.U.M. League, and soccer through informal RSU 3-area sign-ups organized on Facebook.
