Hanover is a small Oxford County town (population 286) just southwest of Rumford on Route 2, with no town recreation department or youth-league website of its own. Hanover kids reach organized sports through River Valley-area programs based in Rumford, chiefly Chisholm Ski Club's youth cross-country program and Black Mountain of Maine's alpine race team. No town-based or chartered baseball/softball, basketball, football or soccer club could be confirmed for Hanover specifically.
