Poland is part of RSU 16 with Mechanic Falls and Minot; its own town office site (polandtownoffice.org) blocks automated access, so a dedicated Poland recreation program could not be directly confirmed. A March 2026 Facebook post from the Minot-Hebron Athletic Association said it was merging youth basketball with Mechanic Falls and Poland for the coming season. For soccer, hockey, swim, and Nordic skiing, area families use the region-wide Lewiston Auburn Youth Soccer Association, the YMCA of Auburn-Lewiston, the Maine Gladiators, and the Auburn Nordic Ski Association at Lost Valley, all in nearby Auburn.
